I held various roles in the 18 years at Dialogic: from hands-on software engineering using C/C++ and embedded development to managing various groups of C/C++ Software Engineers.
As a manager, I was responsible for the hiring, training, appraisals and performance reviews of staff. Managed resources, work flow, and resolved various issues and customer problems. I developed budget, manpower, risk and scheduling requirements.
As a hands-on software engineer, I designed and developed C/C++, embedded assembly language and web based applications using Microsoft based products. These applications were used in the manufacturing test and engineering test environments. On a few occasions my skills were called upon to correct production released software. All aspects of the development cycle were used for these applications, from architectural design and analysis to the actual development, testing and release. The web based applications were developed using HTML, PHP, ASP, and JavaScript. The database based applications used simple CSV files to SQL based structures to track the production process to customer issue archiving.
Team Lead - Customer Enablement / Software Engineer
Coordinate all Host Media Processing (HMP) customer issues to ensure rapid resolution to customer issues. This entailed determining the root of the problem and then coordination of resources and logistics to provide the customer with a quick and accurate solution to these issues. These issues were not planned and were escalated to the group from the customer services group. On several occasions when resources were not available my developer skills were called upon to correct the issue.

Engineering Manager – Function Test: Managed the test design, development and implementation of computer based telephony software using several engineers and a build manager. I provided functional test for products and components for several business units. Maintained the build and test process for several projects.
Group Leader - Test Engineering: Managed the test design, development and implementation of computer based telephony assemblies using 9 Test Engineers and 2 Technicians to provide process for four (4) business units. Supported test and sub-contractors on test related issues. Maintained project schedules and represented Test Engineering on development teams. Developed budget, manpower, risk and scheduling requirements.
Senior Test Engineer: Developed test process using Microsoft C/C++, Microsoft MASM, Motorola 56K DSP tools, and TI C31 DSP tools for applications, embedded Intel x86 family and DSP systems. Designed dedicated and PC based test fixtures.
